Training Course Objectives

This course is designed to give the Oracle 9i/10g database administrator a firm foundation in recovery methods using RMAN. Running as a combined course and workshop, we aim to provide the DBA with the necessary skills to backup, restore, recover, and understand the use of the RMAN tool.

Enhancements and changes introduced up to and including 10g will be discussed and covered during this course.

While applicable to those using Oracle 9i systems, the course is delivered using Oracle 10g unless specified.
